Up for auction is an early deep throat reproducer from a Columbia AH phonograph. These don't show up too often. I am selling this one for parts as the needle bar is beyond restoration. The two brass pieces, which fit together to form the reproducer body, are in very good condition. T is some loss of the nickel-plating but it is still about 90% in tact. The full face is 1 11/16" across. The opening, exposing the diaphragm is 1 1/8" The reproducer is ½" deep and the throat extends 1 5/16" long. The mica diaphragm has darkened but would work fine. The two small screws and washers, which held the needle bar in place, are good and usable. The needle bar is corroded and I believe beyond repair. The screw that tightens the needle in the bar has broken off. Notice that two of the pictures show the reproducer assembled. The front and back simply slid together with a slight pressure fit. New gasket material and a needle bar should bring this back to life again. The arm from which this reproducer came is also being listed. Buyer pays actual shipping from Zip 31523. Insurance is optional
