(Ohio), Cap Badge 673, Bus eraNote added 22-June: I've added two photos taken in outdoor light (overcast day) to attempt to show the bade being very highly polished and almost mirror-like. The original two photos were taken indoor, and show the badge finish to be very flat and dull. Not so!This is an authentic, original Bus Cap Badge from Ohio's Columbus Transit Co. that was formed in 1949 from the Columbus & Southern Ohio Electric Co., to operate transit system. CTC ended in 1971 when it became the publicly owned Central Ohio Transit Authority.Identification and dating help from more knowledgeable ebayers is appreciated.• Measurements: Approximately 3.5" x 1.5"• Material: Nickel/brass• Color: Polished Nickel with red & orange enameling• Markings on reverse: None• Manufacturer: Unknown.• Condition: Light scratches.
