Original one-sheet poster for Come Next Spring. (Republic Pictures, 1956) Standard one-sheet poster, 27 in. x 41 in., for the film, "Come Next Spring," starring Ann Sheridan and Steve Cochran. Pinholes at the corners and top center. Small tear at the top center. Also some weakness at the intersections of the folds. Otherwise, in fine condition. The above poster is from the archives of the old Court Theater of Livingston, California, in the heart of the Golden State's Central Valley. The poster was originally sent to the Court Theater directly from the National Screen Service, displayed once during the respective film's release, and was then folded and placed in storage in a protected and secluded area of the theater's back offices. Nearly all of them have been opened only once since that time - for the photography of this auction catalog. As such, the condition of these posters is astonishing, and collectors will most likely never find better examples of each individual poster. These posters are fresh to the market, and have never been offered for sale anyw before. Extensive collections like this rarely remain intact, and this is one of the few of its kind left.
