This is the first issue of this denomination and celebrates the Fifth Anniversary of the Liberty Dollar. The obverse design retains the same "Liberty Head" as on the 2003 $10 1 oz. Silver Libertys. The reverse is similar to the rare and smaller 2003 $1 Liberty with a truncated torch design. These very rare and collectible Limited Edition of 25,000 $5 half oz. Libertys were SOLD OUT by the NORFED Fulfillment Center (now Liberty Dollar Services.) Many were turned in and melted down after the base change in late 2005. Now they are only available on the secondary market! It measures 32mm and is available in BU only. This s pecimen is flawless , not toned or tarnished.
