This is beautiful German stein commemorating the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, in 1904. Front of stein shows picture, labeled "Tower of Manufactures Building, Lousiana Purchase Expositon, St. Louis, Missouri 1904". The remainder of the stein is richly decorated with stippling and other designs. Near the top edge, you can see "1/2 L." embossed.

The lid is intact and also richly decorated. It is only very slightly wobbly, could easily be tightened, but I will leave that to you. It stands about 8 3/4" tall to tip of the lid, and 3 3/4" in diameter, at the base. The stein is in wonderful condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. As seen in the picture, the bottom is stamped "Germany", with the number 624.
