Here is a working Commodore Pet Series 3016 Computer. As you can see this powers up, and the letters and numbers on the keyboard work. This was powered up for 1 hour and remained stable. The screen is still nice and clear with no evidence of burn in. This Computer is a fine piece of history and is in fairly good condition for its age. There are a couple of points to make you aware of: 1) The screen works well, however sometimes it goes off due to what appers like a loose connection as applying a gentle bit of pressure on the button on the back of the monitor brings it comes back on and it generally stays on.. Once I had done this the screen stayed on for the hour, so it may just need a little TLC on the connection. 2) The keys work as shown in the screen shot - but some require a little more pressure than others - this is fairly standard on a computer of this age. Again a bit of TLC is all that is required. 3) There are a couple of little scratches on the shell - not many and as this is a metal case, this is expected on a computer of this age. The worst one is shown in the photo with this listing. 4) Commodore 3016 label is peeling and needs re-attaching with fresh adhesive, but is otherwise complete.
