Just wanted to thank everyone for their support while my USMC hubby was in Iraq. He is home safely and after a short rest it is time get to work.... This auction is for an exquisite set of COMMUNITY china in the DEAUVILLE pattern with the cream background and the platinum trim. The set consists of 3 cream soups and 4 cream soup saucers, one 15" platter, one 11 1/2" serving bowl and 3 smaller saucers. The platter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. It does have a very minor amount of trim wear. We will call this piece "used mint". The serving bowl also has no damage but does have more signs of wear on the trim (moderate). All three cream soups have VERY tight hairlines and are usable and display as mint. Two of the cream soup saucers are in excellent condition the other two have small nicks under the BACK side of the rim of the saucers. The three odd saucers are in good used condition. These are nice art deco pieces and retail for $324 for the set! The creamer and sugar and fruit bowls in the group photo are not part of this auction. Please see other auctions by the same seller for more great pieces. T are no white spots on the piece, that is just glare from the flash. This would make a great Mother's Day or wedding gift.
