For your consideration today is this original vintage Thomas Edison Diamond Disc Gold phonograph record reproducer unit that appears to be in complete condition, and includes the diamond point or needle as well. The item is marked on the bottom side with A335501, then has a K stamped into one edge side of the main unit, it meaures 5.5" long with the main head being around 2.5" in diameter, the unit is in very fine shape structure wise with no signs of any damage or bent parts, the finish is obviously not like new as t are lots of small spots, light roughness and many scratches around the unit, t are a few spots that are a little bigger that have some gold paint missing, but still a lot of finish still in place, and no bad dents or dings in the metal. The diamond needle is still in place and looks pretty good as t is still a point left in place, the bracket for that is solid, the cord going to the diaphragm is still attached but not sure how solid it is, the diaphragm actually looks pretty good and clean when looking in from the side, as does the outer gasket ring, we assume it is complete, but not totally sure as we did not want to take the unit apart.
