For auction is a complete set (plus 13 doubles) of the Topps Hockey NHL 1954-1955 trading cards. All cards are in good to very good condition in my opinion. They have not been graded by a "pro", but those guys are all over the board anyhow. I saw a Gordie Howe of the same set at a show once that the guy had listed as "excellent". Mine was better and he wanted $1,400.00 for his. I can say that none of my cards are mint or probably even excellent, so bid accordingly. None of them are bad though. T is no writing or names printed on them or any of that stuff. No bad bends either. Just nomal wear from being 53 years old. My Gordie Howe is pretty nice, but it has a slight cross-corner bend mark that passes through his shoulder pads, but it isn't very noticeable unless you turn the card sideways to look at it. The Gordie Howe card is kept in a hard preservation case and has been for 15 years that I've had it. The set comes in an album book and each card is in it's own clear case. It is offered "as is" with no gaurantee of quality standards of any kind. I ship only to the United States and Canada. No bidders from other than USA and Canada please. NO PAYPAL. Don't ask because I don't have it. I accept money orders or Bank or Official checks only. All sales final. $15.00 flat fee to ship to the lower 48 USA States. Canada, Alaska or Hawaii at cost for shipping. Good luck bidders! LOW RESERVE! 73 cards in all. Correction: Card #29 Nick Mickoski is rated Excellent-Mint 2/3 on it's case, and that is the case that it came in when I purchased it. T is very little corner damage to the cards in the set, most of them having no corner (or very tiny) damage and no bend marks. Only one card, #42 (a common), has one corner that has part of the square rounded. The backs in the main set are all clean with no paper loss or tape/glue marks. This pretains only to the "doubles" set of 13 cards: In the doubles set, cards #52 and #53 have scotch tape residue on the backs on them. And that card #53 has some kind of discoloration on the front also. T have been a lot of questions about my #58 (Terry Sawchuck) and #60 (Milt Schmidt). Those two card are among my best and are in both bend-free, with excellent corners. Neither have any paper-loss to speak of, no residue or marks or discoloration. Also #51 (Ted Lindsay) is in great shape, like #58 and #60.
