This auction offers a complete set (6) of the Old Nursery Rhymes Little Rhyme Books , illustrated by the Dutch artist Henriette Willebeek Le Mair. We don't have any dates printed in the books but we know this set was originally published in 1913. The first page of each little book shows the publisher to be Augener Ltd., London, David McKay, 604-603 South Washington Square, Philadelphia. They were printed in England. None of them have dust covers however considering their age and purpose these books are in nice condition - noted as follows: 1) Grannie's Little Rhyme Book - Boards good - cover slightly worn at the corners, no tears and clean inside. 2) Auntie's Little Rhyme Book - as above. 3) Nursie's Little Rhyme Book - as above. 4) Mother's Little Rhyme Book - Cover worn with damage to spine both inside and outside, (looks like someone took a small bite out of the corner) otherwise no tears and clean inside. Stitching still good. Pink liner page both at front and back of book is missing. Not surprisingly this is the most used and worn book in the whole collection. 5) Daddy's Little Rhyme Book - Boards good - cover slightly worn with wear on corners, no tears and clean inside. 6) Baby's Little Rhyme Book - Boards good - cover slightly worn with wear on corners, no tears and clean inside. It is unusual to see this set complete and because of that we offer it with a reserve amount. Payment with PayPal only. Shipping: Delivery confirmation and insurance are required for all purchases within the United States and insurance is required on all International shipments. Please do not send your payment until you have received our invoice because now we are using the shipping calculator we are having to guesstimate the weight and box size of your item and you may end up paying more than you need to. This is especially true of Box Lots. If we pre-pack them then we're unable to answer your more detailed questions. We will be pleased to combine shipping on multiple auctions if the total weight allows, however sometimes with Glass or China box lots it is safer to ship them per box lot auction depending on the size of the items. Shipping costs are based on packed weight and box size + insurance based on final sold value of the item. On small items we charge just $1.00 for packaging and handling, however, even though we make every effort to keep this cost down we do have to increase it depending on how much bubble wrap or other packing materials we have to use in order to keep your item safe in transit. In order to pack responsibly we often need to use large amounts of packing materials. You have our assurance that we will be fair. ALL other charges we quote are directly from the USPS - please take this into account before you bid. Some of our items are on consignment so in most cases our descriptions are from what we see in front of us - we are not experts so please examine the pictures carefully before you bid as they are a very important part of our descriptions.
