The Complete Writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson, containing both volume one and volume two. Printed in the United States. Copyright 1929. Containing all of his essays, lectures, poems, addresses, studies, biographical sketches and miscellaneous works. Published in New York by WM. H. Wise & Co. They are both hardback leather and in good condition. They're both slightly worn on the corners and edges, but both bindings are intact and in good condition. No pen or pencil marks on the pages or in the margins. Volume one contains an etching of Ralph Waldo Emerson done by Otto J. Schneider, which I have included a picture of; it also contains a foreword and Table of Contents. Included in Volume one are Nature Addresses and Lectures, Essays, and Miscellaneous other works. Volume two contains a photograph of Ralph Waldo Emerson from 1854. Also contained in Volume two is a publisher's note to emphasize "the completeness of this unique edition of Emerson's Complete Writings" by explaining that the foreword includes an article originally published in London called "Master Minds" by Emerson, and it is believed that this was the first time that particular work had ever been published in a collected edition of Emerson's works.
