Stuart Turner 10H Engine This engine was professionally built by a good friend of mine to a extremely high standard and "run in" on compressed air, it was then kept in his display cabinet and has never been run on steam. Mounted upon a 20cm. by 15cm. plinth. The bore is 3/4 inch and the stroke is 3/4 inch with a 3 inch flywheel and producing 1/20 of a BHP. The Stuart Turner price for this ready built engine is £602.40. My last two photographs show this engine running on low pressure compressed air (supplied by an old fridge motor) but it will even run by blowing down the intake tube !
