Second generation studio albumen print of subject dressed in buckskins, wearing western hat and holding a Stevens Tip-Up single-shot pistol with skeleton shoulder stock. Printed legend at bottom of print reading: Calamity Jane, Crook`s Scout. Photographer`s hallmark at bottom reading: C.E. Finn/Livingston,/Mont. Reverse with printed legend reading: This (second) grade of work, $2.50 and/ $3.00 per dozen. 2) Small booklet titled: Life and Adventures of Calamity Jane. By Herself. An autobiographical sketch of the colorful frontier personality. 3) Another booklet titled: Notes From a Cowboy`s Diary by Gen. W.H. Sears, Lawrence, Kansas. The recollections of years on the cattle trails in the 1870s. 4) Firearms Dealer Letterhead of Dougan & Co. Dr. Dealers in Firearms, Guns and Pistols, 617 Harrison Ave., Leadville, Colorado.
