Vintage bottle capper from 1920, the start of Prohibition. Engraved in the capper is the following: "COMSTOCK-BOLTON CO. - KANSAS CITY, MO. U.S.A. - PAT'D DEC. 21 1920" and also their logo. Engraving is the same on both sides, but is stamped a little cleaner on one side than it is on the other. Functions well, and as it was meant to function. Has a dark patina overall, excepting the handles which are not totally darkened yet.Overall size: 15" at it's widest position, and height of the body at that position would be 4".
