This is the original 1945 three volume set and is embossed on the cover with "General Thomas T. Handy," who was Commanding General 4th Army. The set consists of the one volume history and the two volume compendium. It is in great condtion and has great photos, maps, graphs and charts. T are not many sets like this around. These volumes have marks and labels from a military library. Thanks for looking at our auctions.
