This is an extremely rare Blatz Pilsener Beer, antique cone top beer can that was produced with a J-Spout during the 1942 to 1945 era. One of two different labels known in olive drab with a J-spout.
This can is in good condition. This can has not been repainted or altered in anyway. It is in it's original state. The bottom reads 101438 The front states Iriquois Indian head Beer, Internal Revenue tax paid -- contents 12 fluid ozs. Iroquois Beverage Corp., Buffalo, NYThe side states: Iroquois Indian Head Beer Brewed in the most scientific and sanitary manner known to the brewing industry. Put up in this modern light-proof package, you will enjoy Iroquois' creamy smoothness - its tangy distinctive flavor. Backed by almost 100 years of brewing experience. Iroquois Beverage Corp. Buffalo, NY. Established 1842The back states Patents applied for Cap-Sealed Trade Mark Reg. Continental Can Co. Inc. Visits no home but yours. Light cannot penetrate it.
