Vietnam era Mark 2 Fighting/Utility knife and leather sheath by Conetta. Leather sheath and handle are chocolate brown color, with a shiny water repellent finish. The inside of the belt loop and keeper strap are a reddish-brown color. From what I have read and been told, this is from a fungicide mixed into the water repellent finish - known as oxblood - leather sheaths tended to wear and rot quickly in jungle environments. Knife is in great shape, and looks to have been rarely used. The stacked leather handle has almost no wear with few small marks. Phosphate finish on the blade is excellent with a few minor marks. Ricasso has "U.S. CONETTA" marking. 12" overall length; 7" blade. The sheath has some marks and impressions - looks like it has been sitting under a bunch of stuff in the box I found it in for some time. No rips or tears. There are very few signs of wear from use - not much wear at the top of the belt loop. Stitched with split rivets. I CHARGE ACTUAL SHIPPING PRICE PLUS INSURANCE. SOME LOCATIONS CLOSER TO MY RESIDENCE MAY HAVE A LOWER SHIPPING CHARGE WITH REGULAR PRIORITY MAIL VERSUS A FLAT RATE BOX. Shipping time will depend on the USPS service chosen by the winning bidder (see Shipping and Payments details). **Keep in mind that delivery times are listed in business days - a Parcel Post package with a delivery time
