Old Confederate Air Force Plaques! This plaque is 1 of 11 recognition plaques that were made for General R. H. "Smoke" Spanjer, USMC (Ret.), deceased 2/99 by the former excecutive director, Mack Sterling. The plaques were to be given to cadets at MMA for their volunteer work during the fall airshow in Harlingen. I've had these plaques since summer 1999 when I received part of General Spanjer's military estate after his death. Actually t were 15 plaques, I've sold one, but I can't account for the missing three. The plaque has excellent color, every stitch is visable, the detail is perfect and the plaques are in their original packaging. This award/recognition plaque weighs about two pounds, it is about 3/4 inch thick, and the exact size may be seen and determined in the third photograph. The scale is in one (1) inch squares. Actual shipping charges to Guam, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO's and FPO's will be quoted by seller. Kindly take a moment to look at our concurrent auctions. Questions. Email us!
