UP FOR AUCTION:
One CSA $100 Train Note - Diffused Steam - T40 -Hand numbered 53741 in red ink, hand dated October 2 1862 - J.T.Paterson & Co. Colombia, S.C at bottom right. Plen A-b - Two interest paid stamps on rear, Jackson 1864 bold brown ink, Montgomery 1865 in dark blue ink There seems to be a hand inscribed endorsement (pencil) on the rear under the 1864 Interest Stamp (see picture three) but I can't make out what it says exactly. This note is not graded, so please see pictures. A few minute pinholes, light fold lines from circulation. No heavy dark fold lines when held to a light. All four corners present and sharp, edges are pretty sharp except for nick at center left edge on the fold line. Framing is trimmed off at top left right, and bottom left. Extra area on right edge shoes framing of adjacent note. Paper feels great, a lot of crinkle with just a little softness to the touch. Note has never been pressed or heated. Like always, please message me if you would like a 300dpi scan sent to your e-mail. Thank you, and, !
