Confirmed D&E aka Juliana Gorgeous Cascading Bead Rhinestone Bib Necklace Earring Set Lucite beads, specialty beads and crystal rhinestones in shades of jonquil yellow and topaz are beautiful in this DeLizza and Elster (D&E aka Juliana) necklace and earring set. The set features a bib style necklace with a chain of topaz colored rhinestones embellished with dangling beads and large bi-color topaz/jonquil crystal rhinestones. They are pear shaped, without foil and set open-back in gold tone metal. The contrast of color is subtle but present. The set is accented by jonquil and topaz colored chatons throughout. Earrings have smaller matching beads and two each of the large crystal rhinestones, also set without foil in open-back. The colors in this stunning design are beautiful and rare to find. The textures too, are marvelous. The specialty beads have bumpy surfaces and colors like caramel and cream. The clear lucite beads are faceted for maximum brightnes. The necklace is about 15 & 1/2 inches long end to end. It has a hook and larger finishing rhinestone closure. Earrings have clip-backs and are about 1 and 1/4 inch wide. Both pieces are in very good vintage condition, pre-owned with light wear. All parts are intact and functional. Though the pieces are unsigned, the set is a confirmed DeLizza and Elster design from around the mid-twentieth century. It was verified in 2007 by the Discovering Juliana Jewelry (DJJ) group.
