This is an attic find. I don't know a ton about it but here it goes.Conn 40B from approximately 1933 (looking at the serial #). It's also described as a "Vocabell"?? Please Please look the pictures over WELL before bidding. It has some dings. The lacquer is all removed . It seems to be complete. It doesn't have any ornate engraving....only the standard Conn stamped on the bell. The bell is in fairly good shape. There is some slight waviness but no creases to speak of. As you can see, all the valves and slides are in good shape. The mother of pearl is still intact. *It does look like the 2nd valve slide (short one) is different than the others...maybe?? Overall a very nice trumpet. I'd keep it but I play Trombone. It has a gold colored (not guaranteeing it's gold plated) Herco mouthpiece. Also it comes with a case that is original looking and in fair condition but very functional. A guy in my band played it and loved it. Not sure what else to say. Ask questions before bidding and I'll do my best answering. I will ship to the 48 states only. Thanks for looking!!
