let me start by saying i was a french horn player in high school and only dabble in the trumpet. not an expert. serial number is 519547 below that says patented. am also listing a prettier vintage director but this is the players horn. some dings and the bell is the worst. i think its a 1955. best i can tell a 28b? valves fast and compression good as far as i can tell. 1st slide trigger works great. all slides work but will need the ring for the 3rd slide and music holder for band playing. not the perfect condition but make no mistake this is like a professional grade-type horn. not much effort to play either. smooth. like i said not even sure its a trumpet or cornet but pretty sure trumpet. i cannot post anything else once a bid is placed so please if any questions arise email me as most likely an expert out there will tell me exactly what i have here and i will post if possible but may not be able to. weight is 2lbs 4.6oz with no mouthpiece, 2lbs 7.8ozs. with benge 7c that is included. a perfect horn for restoring. i cannot refund on this as some people change parts so ask questions first. shipping 18.00 in continental u.s. do not pay if overseas until invoiced as shipping is more overseas. good luck.
