Spanish American War Service Medal from State of Connecticut is numbered 194. I believe it is made of bronze metal. Details are sharper and color is more gold in person than in photos. Measures 1 1/4" diameter, weighs 14.6 grams. No ribbon. Internet research links medal 194 to Benjamin Delahauf Foulois, Born Dec 9, 1879, died Apr 25, 1967 he served 1898 to1935, fought in 4 wars/battles and achieved rank of two star Major General.
