Antique Connors Registered hits Boxing Book, Copyright 1897. 1st, 2nd and 3rd page of book are not in tack with the rest of the books pages. It is ONLY missing the back cover (I believe ). The rest is fully binded together in original condition. Book does have allot of wear, is stained and torn in several places. Other wise in great shape. The front of the cover is so vibrant with colors. (Please judge for youself from the photos) The Boxing Hall Of Fame did look at this Amazing piece of history. They stated to me it is a true treasure.... EXTREMELY UNIQUE and RARE... That items like this do NOT usually enter the open auction market. Pieces like this one are usually sitting in museums. They stated it might be one of a kind. This book was my Grandfather's and I was told he acquired it from a book auction in New York City. I found this auction card inside. So, I believe this to be true. You will receive the Auction card as well for proof. This was one of his most prized possessions. He collected allot of Boxing and James Corbett items. Lets just say he collected everything.... This would be an AMAZING addition to any Boxing collection. Who knows if you will ever have the chance again to get a true piece of boxing history like this.
