Hello Rail Fans!!! You are bidding on an authentic Conrail Employee award Dinnerware set. It was awarded for employees with exceptional service/no injuries somew around 2005.It is service for four including (4) dinner plates, (1) 9" serving bowl, (4) soup bowls, (4) 7.5" side plates, (4) saucers and (4) coffee/tea cups. It is lined in Conrail blue soft fabric. The chest is made of wood and is has the gold trim and Conrail Logo on the cover. It has a gold-tone (brass?) latch lock -- The dinnerware is in perfect condition with no chips, breaks or scratches. It was never used. The cherry-finish outer case has some very minor surface rubs on the edges, but no gouges or chips. This is a very rare piece of Railroadiana -- a great gift for yourself!! It is china cabinet worthy to say the least. It is very heavy, so pickup is recommended. Via UPS Ground delivery, you pay actual shipping plus packing material (to be determined at the end of the auction). , I have ESTIMATED the cost through Ebay's shipping calculator.
