A Consolidated Art Glass # 2102-4" Chintz Vase. This is probably the MOST RARE piece of glass I have ever owned. This was made in 1927, a year before the Ruba Rombic line and is much more rare. As quoted from the Jack D. Wilson Consolidated Book, " This line used a very modernistic motif with an Oriental flavor. This line is EXTREMELY RARE Today. Only a few examples have been reported to me." I think this vase should actually be in a museum. This vase is in excellent condition for its age. T are no cracks, scratches and no cloudiness. T are approx. 7 or 8 very small fleabites at the top. These are very minor and do not detract from this very rare vase. They are not readily noticeable, due to the color and design of the vase. This vase is 8 1/4" long, 3 1/2" wide and 4" tall. It still has the factory ground & polished top. I don't know if this would be considered art deco or art nouveau. But it is beautiful and I really don't like selling it but it is time to part with it. Collectors of elegant glass also might be interested in this rare vase. I collect Fostoria, Cambridge, Duncan Miller and Paden City and I couldn't help but buy this when I came across it. If you want a center piece to your glass collection, this ULTRA RARE Consolidated vase is for you. Don't miss out. BE SURE TO SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE NICE GLASS AND OTHER
