A multi-fold postard nicely framed and double matted. Issued by the Consumers Brewing Co. of Ave. A. 54 to 55th Streets, New York City, NY. Brands of beer advertised include Triple-X, Columbia and Real American. Notes Telephone 860 Plaza. Lists: John Riefe President, Wm. P. Rinckhoff Secretary and Treasurer, Diedrich Knabe 1st Vice President, and Geo. H. Wehrenberg 2nd Vice President. Hudson Fulton Celebration. Very interesting subject matter including portraits of Hendrick Hudson and Robert Fulton, a depiction of the First Settlers of America (Native American Indians in a canoe), Battery and Castle Garden 1807, Fulton's First Steamboat Voyage of 1807, West Point 1790, Statue of Liberty New York Harbor, Old Dutch Colony of New Amsterdam, and Native Americans witnessing the arrival of a sail ship. About 17.5" x 17.5" framed, unfolded card is a little larger than 11" x 11". Condition is excellent with no flaws observed. I acquired this already framed and have not seen the other side of the card. Issued and dated 1909.
