DESCRIPTION: Rare! 19th Century, Antique German Conta Boehme porcelain Trinket Box. A beautiful pair of Love Birds are kissing as they reach across their nest of two eggs. The details are amazing and the birds wings are very colorful and dainty. This box is not listed in either of Richard and Janice Vogel's books and I would consider it to be rare. Marked with Conta Boehme shield and numbers 3531 under the lid. It is marked on the bottom with a painter's mark of 18. It measures 3 inches long, 4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. I am currently selling a large part of my collection because we are retiring and moving to a smaller home. Please ask questions because I am not an expert on antiques, but I do try to describe things the best I can. Please see my other Victorian figurines and trinket boxes that are listed this week. CONDITION: Good Condition. This shows very good color for it's age of over 130+ years. The gold trim is worn in places. One small and faint firing crack on the back bottom part of the mirror that probably happened during firing. T are two small chips off the blue-headed bird's tail. I'll send the two chips so it would be easy to have it restored. I try to describe to the best of my ability because I am not an expert on antiques. PAYMENT, INSURANCE, SHIPPING AND HANDLING: I prefer Money orders or personal
