Conte Civil War playset #1. It is certified as #29 of a limited run of 500. Was set up once for display only. Center piece is a foam earthen siege works piece that is 28" long and 17" wide, designed to fit with other pieces in other sets by Conte. The "bomb proof" bunker has a removable roof.The figures that come in this original release are a little different configuration than the later sets. This came with 20 Conte light blue Union, 24 Marx reissue centennial poses in metalic blue, and 20 Conte gray confederates. I have added 16 Conte Union and 16 Conte Confederates mint on their blister cards. Unique to this set is the pewter field cannon with 4 man confederate crew plus a mounted pewter General Lee figure and a mounted Union officer also in pewter. Rounding out the set are some other reissue Marx items, 9 piece dead trees, stumps + rocks, 2 larger rock formations, assorted civil war accessoris a couple of cows and a tent set that consists of a command tent, three pup tents and a cot with legs in green.Also there are 4 35 piece Marx weapons sprues in silver.
