Continental silver and semi-precious stone boxlate 19th centuryPossibly a hair receiver, the square box with beveled glass base and raised on four reeded ball feet, set with two cameos depicting classical scenes, a coral lion's head, and a carnelian mask of Pan, with turquoise, amethyst, topaz, citrine, garnet, pearl, smoky quartz, and chalcedony cabochons set throughout on a silver ground engraved with a trail of flowers.H: 3 1/4, W: 3 1/2 in, D: 3 1/2 in.
