This is my Contreras C1. Top of the Contreras range. This is a very attractive instrument with a sound to match. The tone has great clarity and playability is excellent. I bought it new in 2008. It is a magnificent instrument with great projection and clarity. The basses are rich and the trebles have bell-like clarity throughout the register. I had new Schaller machine heads fitted last year. I’ve had many happy hours playing this guitar and it has enabled me to develop my ability to the stage where I can justify a concert model. I’m in two minds over selling it but I do need the space. However, if it doesn’t sell I’ll be happy to keep it - so no silly offers please. I couldn’t find any in depth reviews on the web but there may be some buried in the Stafford Guitars web site.
