This beautiful sterling silver coin in the endangered wildlife series has been circulated, but is mirror- and prooflike. The plastic case has some scratch marks, but the coin itself is very fine. These coins are rare with a mintage of only 25,000.
Listed as KM #57 and priced at $ 15 over current silver spot price in Krause's Standard Catalog of World Coins 38th Edition. The coin is legal tender in Cook Islands and New Zealand, with a value of $50 NZD which is approximately $40 USD .
