Up for offer is a set of 47 pcs. of Copeland Spode "Fairy Dell", they are dated in the mid 1940's to late 1950's. they include: 6- cups 2 5/8" high 7- saucers 5 1-2" diameter 5- bread and butter plates 6" diameter 3- plates 7 1/8" diameter 5- plates almost 8" diameter 6- plates almost 10 1/2" diameter 8- shallow soup bowls 8" diameter 1- double handled cake plate 11" diameter 1- covered butter dish 8 1/4" long 1- cream and sugar with lid 1- gravy boat with an attached stand about 9 1/2" All pieces are in very good condition with no chips crack or repairs with the exception of on minor glaze flake to one of the plates. Most pieces have impressed year marks mid 1940's to late 1950's. very little crazing except on 3 of the cups there is a little crazing and some staining. Main pieces look like they have not been used. Very few knife marks on the plates but they have been used. Pattern is transfer print with hand painted washes.
