THE BOILERPLATE I am selling bunches of items for my friend, Babs. Check out the other items for sale link to see everything. Babs has recently retired and is selling her house and downsizing. In the provenance of various items, I will mention w Babs got them. Some she bought directly. Some come to her from her mother, the late Miss Hazel. Miss Hazel and Daddy were from Arkansas , so some items will have an Arkansas connection. We give a description and photos and, wver possible, the full provenance. My apologies on the quality of the photos. My camera is not the best of the digital world and some items may seem a little pixilated when blown up. DESCRIPTION COPPER FIREPLACE COAL SCUTTLE / ASH BUCKET.14-5/8" H when handle is standing up.14-1/2" spout to handle.12" lion's nose to lion's nose.11-1/2" to lip of spout.Copper.Porcelain Handles.Hoop handle attaches to lion detail on each side.Last photo is photoshopped to darker contrast to show detail of lion. PROVENANCE A complete mystery. SHIPPING Buyer pays only ACTUAL shipping cost, no handling fees. We have more bubble wrap that you could imagine. And plastic peanuts? You have no idea! We combine shipping for multiple purchases. We prefer to ship USPS Priority Mail as they provide the boxes. If something is ridiculously light we'll use a USPS box and brown paper and send it parcel post. We will pack up your purchase and get you an exact shipping cost once we know if you have one item or multiples. Just for estimate's sake , think $10 for shipping, we will pack and ship at cheapest possible USPS rate PAYMENT PLEASE DON'T PAY UNTIL I CONFIRM SHIPPING. eBay says PayPal only and doesn't allow me a space to say I'll accept checks with appropriate delay for them to clear. But I love paypal, it makes life so easy.
