This is 2 specimens of Copper ingot trimmings,from Keweenaw county,Michigan.The longer one is 9 3/4" x 3/8" x 1/8",the other is 7" x1/2" x 1/8" and together weight 3.2 Oz's.They are the trimmings off of copper ingots as they w made,not many of these around,they used to remelt these for other ingots.This is part of the mineral collection of the late Professor Donald L.
