From the European Heritage Collection, this beautiful mold has "a flat outside face which is true of many simple French molds, and is ideally suited for any fine textured "savarin" cake, cold dessert or fruit mold". This is a reproduction of an 18 th century mold named for famous French gastronomist, Brillat-Savarin and was originally used to create the "savarin", a classic dessert cake. This mold (#9158) is one of six put out by Revere Ware in 1982. It is still in its original box with a 48 page booklet which explains the collection and includes lots of recipes for its use. T is a small metal loop attached to the mold for hanging on the wall if you wish to use it as a display. The box has a "sticky" residue mark on the bottom from a sticker that was once on it. Otherwise, it is in very good condition. This comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. PayPal is preferred but I do accept money orders and checks. Calculate your postage.
