Cordley & Hayes XXth Century Cooler W/ Peoples Ice Bucket
This is a Stoneware XXth Century Water Cooler with the Peoples Ice Company Cooler. The Stoneware insert measures 11" Tall x 8 1/4" in diameter at the bottome and 6" in diameter at the top. On the front of the cooler is reads : XXTH CENTURY, Trade Mark, COOLER, Patented, Cordley & Hayes. It takes a glass bottle on the top.
Printed on the can is : THE PEOPLES, ICE CO, DISTILLPURA, WARREN OHIO. The can measures a little over 13 1/4" in diameter x just shy of 10" tall. It has a spout and drain hole. The rubber washers really need to be replaced on both the spout holes. The spout is slightly bent (see last image).
Average Condition. The stoneware piece has a firing crack (see image) it does no show on the inside. The Can has some paint loss but looks great.
