A thought from The Mad Hatter … It's about time we all sat down and had a little chat about shipping charges. Let's face it...they're expensive! And there's no sense in your getting into a hissy-fit over them after an auction is over...it's bad for your blood pressure. Think about this...the average item I ship from here in New Jersey weighs about 2 pounds 8 ounces. Shipped Priority Mail to New York City, it would cost $5.95. The same item shipped to Chicago, $9.35; to Denver, $11.15; and to Phoenix or Los Angeles, it would be $13.20. That's more than double what it costs to ship to NYC from here! USPS determines the shipping rates … not The Mad Hatter ! If you think the shipping charges are excessive or too expensive, I beg you, please don't bid! Remember...no hissy-fits! That said… The Mad Hatter is proud to present this... Set of 8 Corelle 'Butterfly Gold' 10-1/4" Dinner Plates One of the very first Corelle patterns... and a perfect match for the Pyrex serving and cookware! With stylized butterflies on pure white plates, these plates are near perfect with only light utensil marks. Corelle is lightweight and near impossible to break, making this set perfect for the patio or deck...or even for camping or the summer house...yet formal enough for the luncheon or dinner table. These 8 plates are simply marked "Corelle by Corning" on the bottoms. There are no chips, cracks or defects, and as I said, with only light utensil marks. And they are beautiful! 'Nuff said!
