Instead, the MkII used a smaller 1600cc version of the RS 2000s Pinto engine but with a chin spoiler below the standard front panel and a rubber boot spoiler. RS four-spoke alloys with dove-grey painted spokes, sport-pack instruments and Mexico side decals completed the package.
