With Christmas right around the corner, this will be the last week I will be listing any items on eBay before the end of the year. As I write this description, my kiln is working hard to finish the last firing. My first ornament this week shows a sweet corgi that is fast asleep on Christmas Eve. Next to him are his 'Specialty Fund' piggy bank and a letter to Santa. The letter reads, "DEAR SANTA, PLEASE LEAVE CASH FOR THE SPECIALTY SHOWS!" The entire ornament was hand sculpted out of clay without the use of any molds. Two kiln firings give the ceramic ornament a shiny finish that will last for all of your Christmases to come. The bright red oval rug, painted with green Christmas trees, measures approximately 2" wide by 4" long. The total height is almost 1 ½" to the top of the corgi's ear. T is a gold ribbon attached to the ornament so you can hang it on your tree. The bottom is signed and dated ~ Karen Reed 2006. * * * Happy Holidays! * * *
