"Corgiville Fair" Ilustration Of The Corgiville Fair Story Written By Tasha Tudor about the Corgi Dogs. It illustrates the big event of the year in Corgiville which is the fair. The illustration looks like it is hand drawn and then colored in by either paint or colored pencils on the piece of wood. Edges of wood are scalloped with a wood burning effect. Measures 8 1/2" x 22 1/2". Overall picture is in good condition. I can not find any dates or signatures on picture unless the squiggly mark in bottom right corner of picture #5 is possibly a signature mark. Has swivel hook at top for hanging. Back has red felt and picture hook for hanging. Some wear/marks on red felt on back. It is really a colorful and interesting picture with all the animals & all the sayings. Not exactly sure how old it is. I have had it for 20+ years. My Mom got it for my son's room when he was five and he is now 28. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID. MY GOAL IS TO MAINTAIN 100% SATISFACTION. THANKS FOR LOOKING! GOOD LUCK BIDDING! Just to clarify for all interested in this item. I am not really sure how the illustration was done on the wood. I was asked a question today if I thought this was a page from the Corgiville Fair Book that was somehow mounted on the wood & laminated. I answered back, it's possible. I'm not really sure. As I explained above in listing it looks like it is hand drawn and then colored in by either paint or colored pencils on the piece of wood. It's possible it is a drawing that was transferrred somehow to the piece of wood. I really don't know for sure & I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to art work. I have tried to describe it as accurate as I can by what it looks like to me, but that does not in any way guarantee that what it looks like to me is really what it is. I have no way to actually verify how the illustration was done. All I know is that it is an interesting item & thought it might be of interest to someone who enjoys Corgi Dogs or enjoys the Tasha Tudor stories about the Corgi Dogs.
