I am not an expert on Civil War furniture however it was confirmed by an experienced antique dealer that this china cabinet is from the Civil War Period (1861-1865). This cabinet is in two pieces. The top and bottom each have 2 glass doors. It has beautiful carved rope trim, claw feet and pillars on the front sides. T is a drawer in the middle and the key too. This is a very unique piece. It does show some wear as I hope you can see in the pictures. If you have any questions please contact me.
