Fantastic sounding amp from Cornford. These amps are now discontinued and so cannot be bought new anymore, Cornford as a company no longer exist.It is especially rare to see the 30 watt head come up for sale, I know this because it took me a few months to get hold of this one. The amp is a single channel amp with a footswitchable variable gain boost (footswitch included) The amp is old school in its approach. It's designed to interact with the guitar. The idea is to get your crunch tone/high gain rhythm tone setting the eq, master volume and gain controls, roll back the volume on your guitar to get your clean tone and everything in between, and switch in the boost for your solo tone. The amp is incredibly dynamic and can change just from the way you hit the strings. Above all these things the amp sounds incredible. It received the guitarist gold award which is high praise indeed.The amp features 3 12ax7 preamp valves and 2 6L6 power valves. The great thing also is the amp is cathode biased. Meaning you can swap out and change the 6L6 power valves to different brands of 6L6 and the amp auto bias's itself.My only reason for selling this amp is a change of direction musically and I now need a multi channel amp.
