13 Piece Set of Corning Vision Glass Cookware Up for auction is this beautiful 13 piece set of Amber Corning Vision Glass Cookware. All pieces are USA. Cookware is used but in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Two of the pots have utensil marks. See descriptions below. Set includes: .5L Sauce Pan with Lid . 1L Pot with Lid . Has a handy pour spout. 1.5L Pot with Lid . 2.5L Pot with Lid . Has a grab handle #6 Skillet with waffle bottom and Lid . #9 Skillet with waffle bottom. #10 Skillet with waffle bottom and Lid . I am not an expert on Vision Ware, but I see different markings on the Handles that may mean something to a collector. So I will describe this markings. The .5L sauce pan The handle is marked VISION CORNING USA 0.5L. T are 3 raised dots. 1 after VISION. 1 ea at end of USA & 0.5L Pan is in EXCELLENT condition. Includes Lid The 1L Pot The handle is marked VISION CORNING USA 1L. T are 4 raised dots, 1 at the end of VISION. 2 in front of CORNING, and 1 in front of USA. Pot is in EXCELLENT condition. Includes Lid The 1.5L Pot has a B above a K on the underside of the handle. The handle is marked VISION CORNING USA 1.5L T are 2 raised dots, 1 after VISION and 1 above the O in VISION. Pot is in VERY GOOD condition. Some utensil marks. Includes Lid The 2.5L Pot. The handle is marked VISION CORNING USA 2.5L. T are 5 raised dots. 1 after VISION, 1 above the V and 1 above the S. 1 before CORNING & 1 before USA. The letter A is under 2.5L Pot is in VERY GOOD condition. Does have utensil marks. Includes Lid The #6 Skillet The handle is marked VISION CORNING USA & 6. T are 7 raised dots. 1 at the end of VISION & 1ea above the V, S, O, N in VISION. 1 at the beginning and end of CORNING. The letter A is under the 6. Bottom is waffled. Includes Lid. Skillet is in EXCELLENT condition. The #9 Skillet The handle is marked VISION CORNING USA & 9. T are 5 raised dots. 1 after VISION, 1ea before CORNING & USA, and 2 under the number 9. Bottom is waffled. NO LID Skillet is in EXCELLENT condition. The #10 Skillet The handle is marked VISION CORNING USA & 10. T are 2 raised dots. 1 after VISION and 1 after USA. Bottom is waffled. Includes Lid. Skillet is in EXCELLENT condition. NOTE: On a couple of the pictures below, the lids have a purple hue to them. This is just because of the Sunny Florida Skies. All pieces are amber.
I have a friend that I discovered cooks exclusively with Vision Ware. I asked what it was that he liked about the cook ware. Told me the best feature was that food cooks evenly because the glass distributes the heat evenly from the bottom to the sides. It can be used on electric or gas stoves. Can go right from the freezer to the stove, oven or microwave. Handle stays cool even when cooking. The set weighs about 22lbs un-boxed and you will have the option to use priority mail or parcel post. The set will be professionally packed but I still require insurance just in case, which is included in the S&H charges Thanks for Looking We ship our items by USPS Priority Mail, and require insurance.
