Corning Ware 10 Cup Electric Percolator Coffee Pot in the beautiful Cornflower Blue pattern. Includes Percolator with lid, basket with rubber ring, electrical assembly unit and electrical cord. For easy cleaning, simply remove the basket and electrical assembly. Marked on the bottom of the Electrical assembly "120 V.A.C. Only 621 W. Corning Ware® P-80 UL". This Corningware coffee pot percolator is in pristine condition and appears to have never been used, or used very little. In my research I came across this notice: "In 1979 Corning initiated a nation-wide warning on some of the Corningware percolators. The epoxy sealant that holds the metal band to the white glass-ceramic pot can become dry and brittle and cause the band to separate from the pot without warning. If the pot is full of hot coffee or other hot liquid, this could be serious." I have not been able to determine if this particular 10 Cup Percolator was mentioned in the recall or if it was produced later. Therefore I am listing this Corning Ware Percolator as a collectible item for display purposes only and not as an item to be used.
