Offered today from my personal collection of antique knives is a very nice old Cornwall Knife Co. New York Swell end knife. Handles appear to be ebony and are complete with just a tiny chip on back side next to the large pin. Nickel silver bolsters and oval shield are very nice too! Blades are real nice and clean & show just slight sharpening. Main clip blade has long pull and is marked on tang CORNWALL over KNIFE CO. over NEW YORK over U.S.A. It has slight opening snap & half stop but no closing snap. Smaller blade moves smoothly back & forth but has no snap. Dual back springs are nice & just show a few spots of rust near the larger end. Goins has this company listed but provides no dates. I estimate this to be an early knife, most likely made before 1930! A very nice well made knife from a quality maker, so don`t miss out! Bidding starts at a very reasonable $9.99 and shipping by regular airmail, no insurance, to the USA will be just $6.00($5.00 shipping + $1.00 padded envelope). I will combine shipping for multiple wins on same closing day to save you money! I am not responsible for packages once they enter the postal system, so if you want insurance then EMS is the method and it will be more. Please contact me if you have any questions & good luck! PAYMENT! Payment to be made by USPS Money Order for US buyers. This payment is to go my father in AZ and the knives ship from Tokyo. DO NOT SEND PAYMENT TO JAPAN! I want all eBay payment to stay in the US! I can accept personal checks from US buyers with 50+ positive feedback with no negatives for non-payment. You would have to wait about two weeks or so for my slow bank to clear check though before I ship. But this is an option! Buyers from outside the USA may contact me for payment options! SORRY, NO PAYPAL! Please, no zero feedback bidders or those with lots of negatives for non-payment. I reserve the right to cancel bids of those who do not follow this policy. Thanks for reading & good luck with the auctions! Greg(swimswithfishes)
