CORNWALL LARGE WOOD WALL 3 SHELF COLONIAL GROOVED DISPLAY CURIO SHADOW CABINET Up for sale is this antique wood shelf, which holds tea cups and saucers, in good condition. The shelf looks like it's made of a pine wood and is stained a dark brown. There are t wo hooks on the back so you can easily mount the shelf to the wall. There are no label as to the maker or year, however I was told at the time of purchase it was from the 1960's. Please see photo's. This lovely wood shelf was design to display plates and or tea cups and saucers. It has a very simple design. There are three shelves, each having one grove on each shelf to safely hold your collectibles in place. The top of the shelf has eight arches. The top and bottom, as well as the front of the shelves are all rounded edges. The front nine spindles were hand turned on a lathe and cut in half giving this piece a very nice decorative touch. It measures 48" x 19" x 5 1/2". There are some scratches and on the bottom front is some repair work that has a matted finish where the rest has a semi gloss.
