This vintage Coro rhinestone and enamel horse pin was featured in the "Coro Originals" advertisement in 1948. The horse was named "Victor" in the ad. This pin is pictured on page 69 of the book, "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202," by Julia C. Carroll. The pin is marked on the back on the inside: Coro. Des. Pat. Pend.. This is a charming piece with a 3-dimensional shape. The rhinestones are brilliant with lots of sparkle. The enamel is not chipped or scratched. The setting is shiney gold colored metal and t is a safety catch. The setting and stones are not worn and nothing is missing. The pin is 7/8" x 2 1/4". This would be an outstanding addition to your collection and striking to wear
