I just picked this up at an estate auction Sunday, and it is in great condition. This auction is for a CORY NICRO STAINLESS STEEL VACUUM COFFEE POT. Nicro, is a division of the Cory Corporation. This pot is complete with the cover for the bottom pot, and the metal filter or strainer with the spring attached, and the top hopper portion. The bottom pot has a curved black handle that is attached by a silver metal strip. The handle is attached with two screws. The gasket on the bottom of the hopper is pliable, and should give you a good seal during brewing. This unit together stands 9 ½" tall. The hopper pot is 6 ¼" round. The printing around the black seal says:

CAT. NO. R101 4NOCRO - CHGO U.S.A.

The hopper measures 9" from lip of rim to bottom of stainless steel stem. It is quite clean both inside and out, without coffee stains.

The metal filter is quite clean. I can see no coffee stains on this part. The spring is like new. The handle on the filter reads:

NICRO CHICAGO PAT. 2502375 D-157486 STAINLESS

The bottom pot will hold 8 cups of liquid. On the bottom of the pot is says:

MOD 500 STAINLESS NICRO STEEL CHICAGO PAT. PEND

The handle is firmly attached and not cracked.

The lid to the bottom pot is permanently attached with a stainless steel hinge. The top of the lid has a black handle.
