NAME: MARTHA WASHINGTON - PRESIDENTE WILSON OWNERS: Cosulich Line - Trieste DATE OF BUILDING: 1908 - 1912 REMARKS: Ex Austro Americana liners DESCRIPTION: Offered at auction tonight a rare and not often seen around brochure covering the beautiful and elegant First and Cabin Class interiors on board the Martha Washington and Presidente Wilson . The brochure counts 28 pages plus covers, opens with a great photograph of the Saturnia on the stocks ready to be launched, continues with an artist's rendering of the sister ship the Vulcania and a beautiful photo of the Stella d'Italia at sea. Then start the elegant First and Second Class accommodations of the above named liners employed in North and South Atlantic service. 22 b/w photos of the two liners and their elegant interiors, each of them well described. On cover we find an artist's rendering of the Presidente Wilson signed by Bruno Croatto and dated 1924. SIZE 7-1/2" x 6" ( Cm. 19 x 15 ) CONDITION: Very good/fine . The front cover shows age and humidity stains, the inside in in very good/fine condition but show some overall wear due to age and the fact the piece has been stored in a humid place.
